Felton Armstrong Arrested in Fatal Austin Pedestrian Accident on Ben White Boulevard

Austin, Texas (October 14, 2021) – A man has been arrested following a hit-and-run accident that left another man dead Monday night in south Austin, according to the police.

Deaunte Armstrong III, 27, was arrested in connection to the crash.

The deadly accident happened just before 9:45 p.m., October 11, in the 700 block of East Ben White Boulevard westbound service road.

Police said Armstrong was driving a 2005 white Toyota 4Runner when he struck a 45-year-old man.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Armstrong fled the scene but was later arrested on a failure to stop and render aid charge.
