4 Critically Injured in Covington Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 171 near Hill County Road 1413

Covington, Texas (December 25, 2019) – Four people were critically injured in a head-on collision Monday morning in Covington, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m., December 23, on Highway 171 near Hill County Road 1413.

Authorities said a northbound vehicle attempted to pass a vehicle ahead of it and crashed head-on into an oncoming vehicle.

Three people inside one of the vehicles were rushed to the hospital with critical injuries. One person in the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
