Four Injured in SE Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 812 

Austin, Texas (August 9, 2021) – Four people were injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Austin, a local news source reported.

The crash happened just after 10:00 p.m., August 8, in the 8810 block of FM 812.

According to the report, two vehicles were involved in the collision.

One person was pinned in one of the vehicles and had to be extricated.

Two other people were possibly ejected during the crash.

Four victims were declared trauma alerts by the responding medics.

Two of the victims were taken to local hospitals with critical, life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed FM 812 at U.S. Highway 183.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

The crash remains under investigation.
