Four Injured in San Antonio Four-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

San Antonio, Texas (February 9, 2020) – Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday evening in San Antonio, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred just before 6:30 p.m. February 8, on Interstate 35.

Police said a black Dodge Charger and Toyota Corolla were traveling southbound when one of them changed lanes and hit the other.

Both vehicles lost control and rolled over the grassy median and into the northbound lanes, where the Corolla struck a Nissan Maxima, and the Charger crashed head-on into a Ford Explorer, causing it also to roll over.

The driver of the Ford Explorer had to be extricated from her vehicle. She broke both her legs in the crash and was taken to University Hospital along with the driver of the Charger.

The Corolla driver and the Maxima driver were taken to Southwest General with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash closed multiple lanes on the northbound and southbound side of the interstate near Somerset Road.

The crash remains under investigation.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
