Francisco Campos ID’d as Man Killed in Manor Car Accident on Highway 290 E and Cedar Street

Manor, Texas (March 1, 2019) – The Manor Police Department has identified the man who died in an accident where a car collided with an 18-wheeler last month in Manor.
Francisco Reyes Campos, 28, was killed in the wreck that happened on Highway 290 E and Cedar Street at about 5:20 a.m. on Monday, February 18.
Police said a car crashed into the side of an 18-wheeler that was trying to turn.
Emergency crews extricated the driver of the car and one passenger. They were then rushed to Dell Seton, where the passenger died of their injuries. The driver was was under emergency care.
Police said Campos was the passenger who died in the accident.
A second passenger in the car was also taken to Dell Seton with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Manor Police Department is investigating the crash.
