Garrett Castellese Among 3 Injured in Robertson County Collision on Highway 6 near Lakeway Drive and Sadberry Road

Robertson County, Texas (June 13, 2022) – Garrett Castellese, 26, of Bryan, was among three people who were injured Saturday night in a deadly crash in Robertson County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The collision happened at around 10:20 p.m. Saturday, June 11, on State Highway 6 near Lakeway Drive and Sadberry Road.

DPS said a 2005 Dodge pickup was attempting to cross State Highway 6 to Sadberry Road when it was hit by a 2019 Ford SUV that was traveling eastbound.

Castellese, who was the driver of the Dodge, was airlifted to the CHI St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in Bryan with serious injuries.

Joe Tatom, 67, of Hilltop Lakes, who was a passenger in Castellese’s vehicle, died at the scene.

The driver and the passenger of the Ford were taken to the CHI St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in Bryan with serious injuries.

Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
