Gary Borag and Georgia Borag Killed in SW Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1826

Austin, Texas (December 4, 2020) – The two people who were killed in an 18-wheeler crash Tuesday morning in far SW Austin have been identified as Gary Borag,69, and Georgia Borag,70, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 11:30 a.m., December 1, on FM 1826.

DPS said a truck tractor towing a trailer was traveling northbound on the highway when a Kia Optima driven by Gary attempted to turn left, and the vehicles collided. Left turns are prohibited in that area.

Both Gary and Georgia were pronounced dead at the scene.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
