Gerard Hernandez Hospitalized after San Antonio Crash on Castroville Road

San Antonio, Texas (July 11, 2019) – A man was injured early Wednesday morning in a traffic accident involving two vehicles in San Antonio, according to a local news source.

The wreck happened on Castroville Road on Wednesday, July 10.

Authorities said Gerard Hernandez, 51, was driving an SUV down Castroville Road when for an unknown reason, he allowed the SUV to drift into oncoming traffic and collided with a box truck.

First responders arrived at the scene and extricated Hernandez from the wrecked SUV. He was then transported to a hospital in unknown condition.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
