Gilberto Treviño Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Culebra Road

San Antonio, Texas (November 14, 2019) – A man was killed Tuesday night in a head-on crash in San Antonio, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash took place on Tuesday, November 12, near the 9600 block of Culebra Road.

Police said Gilberto Treviño, 25, was driving a Ford Mustang northbound over the speed limit when he lost control and hit the raised center island.

The then Mustang crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a Ford Explorer.

Treviño was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Ford driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
