Girl Hurt in Mission Pedestrian Crash on La Homa Road and 8 Mile Line Road

Mission, Texas (January 31, 2019) – A girl was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Mission on Wednesday morning, according to the DPS.
The crash occurred on La Homa Road and 8 Mile Line Road at about 6:42 a.m. January 30.
DPS said the child was crossing La Homa Road to catch the bus when a northbound white Nissan four-door passenger car struck her and fled the scene.
The victim was taken to McAllen Medical Center with major injuries.
The DPS is investigating the incident.
