Girl Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on FM 812 in Del Valle

2-Year-Old Girl Killed, 2 Injured in Del Valle Crash on Farm-to-Market Road 812

Del Valle, Texas (February 28, 2023) – A two-year-old girl was killed and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Del Valle Wednesday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The deadly crash happened at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, on Farm-to-Market Road 812, southeast of Circuit of the Americas.

DPS said a Ford Fusion was stopped in the left lane to turn left into a driveway. A Jeep Grand Cherokee reportedly crashed into the back of the Ford.

A  2-year-old girl who was in a car seat in the Ford was airlifted to Dell Children’s Medical Center in critical condition, but she later succumbed to her injuries.

The drivers of both vehicles suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
