Glen Pace, Patrick Valkenberg Injured in Plane Crash off CR 434 in Lindale

Glen Pace and Patrick Valkenberg ID’d as 2 Mississippi Men Injured in Lindale Plane Crash off CR 434

Lindale, Texas (November 27, 2019) – The two men who were injured in a plane crash on Friday in Lindale have been identified as Glen Pace, the pilot, and Patrick Valkenberg, the co-pilot, both of Mississippi, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened on Friday, November 22, in the 15500 block of County Road 434, north of I-20.

FAA said the Cirrus SR 22 had departed Terrell with plans to land in Gladewater when it lost power en route and crashed into a field. A parachute was deployed for landing.

Pace and Valkenberg, both employees of Jeff Martin Auctioneers, Inc., were taken to UT Health – Tyler Hospital for treatment.

An investigation is underway.
