Greyson Turner Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35

Greyson Turner ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in Interstate 35 Crash in Austin

Austin, Texas (October 1, 2022) – Authorities have identified the pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle last week on Saturday night in Austin as Greyson Turner.

The crash happened at around 10:55 p.m. September 24 in the 5400 block of N Interstate Highway 35 northbound.

Austin Police Department said Turner was standing outside his vehicle in the parking lot of the Chase Bank when a sedan speeding northbound on Interstate 35 lost control and hit him.

Turner was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The sedan driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was also hospitalized. The motorist was not arrested.

The crash remains under investigation, and anyone with information or who witnessed the collision is urged to call the authorities at 512-974-8111.
