Haley Womak Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 near 51st Street
Austin, Texas (April 27, 2021) – A woman was killed early Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in central Austin, according to the police.
The deadly collision occurred around 2:45 a.m., April 21, on Interstate 35 near 51st Street.
Police said an 18-wheeler had pulled over to the northbound shoulder of the freeway when it was rear-ended by a pickup truck.
Haley Frances Womak, 25, of Austin, who was a passenger in the pickup truck, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup driver was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas with life-threatening injuries.
