Harold Norris Injured in Fatal 3-Vehicle Accident on Texas 101 in Park Springs

Harold Norris Hurt in Fatal Park Springs Crash on Texas 101

Park Springs, Texas (June 16, 2019) – A driver was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that left one other driver dead on Friday afternoon in Park Springs, according to the DPS.

The wreck happened at about 3:40 p.m. Friday, June 14, on Texas 101, approximately 12 miles north of Chico.

DPS said a 2002 Chevrolet pickup was southbound on Texas 101 when, for unknown reasons, the driver crossed the centerline and collided with an oncoming 2000 Chevrolet pickup.

The 2002 Chevrolet continued on and collided with a northbound 2014 Chevrolet Cruz.

The driver of the 2002 Chevrolet sustained grave injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the 2000 Chevrolet, identified as Harold E. Norris, 53, of Bowie, was taken to Medical City Denton Hospital with unknown injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The DPS is investigating the incident.
