Hayden Weissman, Peyton Weissman Killed in Kyle Traffic Collision on Windy Hill Road and Interstate 35

Kyle, Texas (April 30, 2019) – The two teens who were killed in an alleged hit-and-run collision on Saturday night in Kyle have been identified as Hayden Weissman, 18, and Peyton Weissman, 16, according to police.
The wreck happened around 9:20 p.m. Saturday, April 27, near Windy Hill Road and Interstate 35.
Police said a sedan with five occupants was struck by a pickup truck at the intersection. One of the drivers fled the scene after the incident.
Hayden and Peyton were among the five occupants of the sedan. They were both pronounced dead at the scene. The other three occupants of the sedan were transported to hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Police later located the driver who fled the scene. The suspect, identified as Macario M. Hernandez, 61, is facing charges of accident causing death and accident causing bodily injury. The crash is under investigation.
