Hector Javier Arcinie Martinez Killed in Fort Worth Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 287 near Interstate 30

Fort Worth, Texas (February 19, 2020) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Fort Worth, according to the police.

The fatal crash took place around 6:30 a.m. February 18, in the northbound lanes of Highway 287 near Interstate 30.

Police said a black Tahoe was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic when it hit at least two other vehicles and crashed into a bridge pillar. One of the vehicles that were hit by the Tahoe, a white Dodge pickup truck, rolled over before coming to a stop further down the road.

Hector Javier Arcinie Martinez was killed in the crash.

The conditions of the occupants in the Dodge were not released.

Investigators said road rage or street racing were likely factors in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
