Homeless Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Loop 410; Christian Cazares Arrested

San Antonio, Texas (November 13, 2020) – A homeless man was fatally hit by a suspected drunk driver Thursday night in San Antonio, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened on November 12, on Loop 410 at Vance Jackson.

Authorities said Christian Cazares, 24, was driving when he jumped the curb along the highway and hit the man who was sleeping on the curb.

The car ran over the man and dragged him for a few feet.

Cazares then exited his car and went to a nearby restaurant parking lot.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Cazares was arrested and has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The authorities are investigating the accident.
