Hung Van Phan Killed in Cedar Hill Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 67

Cedar Hill, Texas (August 5, 2020)According to police, two drivers were killed Sunday morning in a wrong-way crash in Cedar Hill.

The deadly crash was reported around 2:12 a.m., August 2, in the 2000 block of Highway 67.

According to police, Hung Van Phan, 58, of Cedar Hill, was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of the highway when he crashed head-on into a southbound vehicle driven by Adam Weyand, 27, of Midlothian.

Midlothian police were already responding to the reports of the wrong-way driver before the crash occurred.

Both Phan and Weyand were pronounced dead at the scene. 

The crash remains under investigation.
