India McKinley Killed in Crash with Fire Truck on I-35 in Austin

India McKinley Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Austin, Texas (October 28, 2020) – A woman was killed after crashing into a fire truck on October 17 in Austin, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 2:16 a.m. in the 12600 block of North Interstate 35.

Police said India McKinley, 35, was driving a 2015 Dodge Dart southbound on the interstate when she crashed into a stationary fire truck owned by the City of Pflugerville.

The fire truck had its emergency lights activated at the time of the crash.

McKinley was killed in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police at 512-974-6935.
