Injuries Sustained in Austin Crash on Interstate 35 near U.S. 79

Austin, Texas (August 26, 2019) – Injuries were reported Sunday morning after a traffic accident in Austin, according to authorities.

The crash, which was reported shortly before 4:00 a.m. Sunday, August 25, happened on Interstate 35 near U.S. 79.

Authorities said an unknown number of vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of  Interstate 35 for unknown reasons.

Police along with paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the parties involved. The patients were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
