Lubbock, Texas (January 28, 2022) – Injuries were reported Friday morning following a four-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to a local news source.

The crash happened just before 8:30 a.m., near South Loop 289 and Slide Road.

According to the report, four vehicles were involved in the crash.

Moderate injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash backed up traffic in the eastbound lanes near Spur 327 and the South Loop for about an hour. The southbound access road on-ramp to Loop 289 was closed.

No other details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
