At Least 1 Injured in Houston Car Accident on Katy Freeway

Houston, Texas (July 30, 2019) – At least one person was injured in a traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday morning in Houston, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened on the Katy Freeway just before 7 a.m. on the Katy Freeway at Greenhouse.

Authorities said a big rig and at least one smaller vehicle were involved in the crash.

One person was trapped in the wreckage and was extricated by emergency crews.

There was no update on the number of those injured and the extent of their injuries.

All lanes were blocked heading outbound/westbound at Greenhouse as the scene was cleared.

The crash is under investigation.
