Injuries Reported in Hemphill Two-Truck Accident on Highway 87 at Highway 83
Hemphill, Texas (April 22, 2019) – Injuries were reported in a two-truck accident last week Monday afternoon at a Hemphill intersection, a local news source reported.
The crash happened on Monday, April 15, in the area of Highway 83 and Highway 87.
According to the police, a witness said the driver of a Honda Ridgeline pickup truck turned into the path of a Peterbilt log truck, resulting in a collision. The logs slid forward and pushed the cab along with it following the impact. The Peterbilt truck is owned by S&S Lumber in Etoile.
The driver of the log truck had to be extricated from the cab. He sustained minor injuries in the crash.
