Innocent Driver Injured in Chase Crash on Beltway 8 at Veterans Memorial Drive in Harris County

Driver Injured in NW Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash on Beltway 8 at Veterans Memorial Drive

Harris County, Texas (October 4, 2020) – An innocent driver was injured early Saturday morning in a collision with a chase suspect in northwest Harris County, a local news source reported.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m., October 3, on Beltway 8 at Veterans Memorial Drive.

According to the report, the Harris County Sheriff’s deputies and Precinct 4 deputy constables were chasing a white Dodge car with two people inside before it crashed into an innocent driver.

The innocent driver was pinned inside the wreckage while the Dodge rolled over after the crash.

The innocent driver sustained head injuries and was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

Deputies found a loaded gun inside the Dodge, and the two people inside were taken into custody.

The crash remains under investigation.
