Jackson Borg ID’d as Man Killed in Round Rock Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35 near Grand Avenue Parkway
Round Rock, Texas (September 7, 2018) – The man who was struck and killed by a big rig Tuesday afternoon in northern Travis County has been identified as Jackson James Borg,23, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The accident happened just before 8:00 p.m. September 4, on Interstate 35 near Grand Avenue Parkway.
According to the authorities, Borg was trying to walk across all three southbound lanes of Interstate 35 when a semi-truck which was towing another vehicle struck him.
The driver was not able to swerve in time to avoid striking the pedestrian.
The DPS is conducting the investigation.
