Jacky Gaschot Killed in South Austin Pedestrian Accident on Riverside Drive; Crystal Dominguez Arrested

Austin, Texas (November 8, 2022) – A woman has been arrested after she hit and killed a pedestrian Friday evening in South Austin, according to the police.

The accident happened around 5:22 p.m., November 4, in the 800 block of E. Riverside Drive.

Police said Crystal Dominguez, 30, was driving a sedan when she hit 62-year-old Jacky Gaschot.

Gaschot was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dominguez and another unidentified pedestrian were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Dominguez has been charged with intoxication assault and intoxication manslaughter.
