24-Year-Old Jacob Andrew Raziano Killed in Friendswood Motorcycle Crash on FM 528 at Bay Park Drive

Friendswood, Texas (May 1, 2020) – According to police, two people were killed Wednesday night in a traffic collision involving a motorcycle in Friendswood.

The fatal crash happened just after 8:00 p.m. April 29, at the intersection of FM 528 and Bay Park Drive, east of Bay Area Boulevard.

Police said a black Yamaha motorcycle was heading eastbound at a high rate of speed when it hit the passenger side of a westbound black 2019 BMW, which was crossing into the eastbound lanes of FM 528 to turn left onto Bay Park Drive.

The motorcyclist, Jacob Andrew Raziano, 24, of Webster, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Chasonique Evonne Richardson, 29, of Houston, who was the front-seat passenger of the BMW, was extricated and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The BMW driver, Leon Shapiro, 66, of Friendswood, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
