Jacob Hengtgen ID’d as Man Killed in Odessa Motorcycle Crash on East 8th Street

Odessa, Texas (July 5, 2019) – Jacob Hengtgen, of Wisconsin, has been identified as the man who was killed Thursday night in a motorcycle crash in Odessa.

The deadly accident happened in the 1900 block of East 8th Street Thursday, July 4.

Authorities said Hengtgen was riding his motorcycle eastbound on 8th Street at a high rate of speed when he collided with a Ford Mustang that was pulling out of a private drive.

Hengtgen was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
