Jacob Keister Critically Injured in Texarkana Pedestrian Accident on Summerhill Road

Texarkana, Texas (December 17, 2020) – A man was critically injured in a pedestrian accident Tuesday night in Texarkana, according to police.

The accident happened around 9:30 p.m., December 15, in the 1700 block of Summerhill Road.

Police said Greaker Whitaker-Robinson, 62, of Texarkana, was driving a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder in the inside northbound lane of Summerhill Road when she hit Jacob Keister, of Texarkana, who was walking in traffic.

Keister was wearing dark clothing at the time of the accident. He was taken to Christus St. Michael Hospital in critical but stable condition.

The police are investigating the crash.
