Jacob Ramos Hernandez Killed in Atascosa Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-35 South near Luckey Road

Atascosa, Texas (July 16, 2020) – The man who was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Monday night in Southwest Bexar County has been identified as Jacob Ramos Hernandez, 23, of Somerset, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened at about 11:00 p.m. July 13, in the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 South, near Luckey Road.

Deputies said Hernandez was driving a four-door sedan southbound on the highway when he rear-ended a small SUV.

The impact caused the sedan to veer off into the center median and go airborne, ejecting Hernandez onto the main lanes of the highway.

Several other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Hernandez was declared dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
