James Lyles and Eddie Williams ID’d as 2 Injured in Salado Crash on FM 2484 at Brewer Road
Salado, Texas (May 28, 2019) – The Texas Department of Public Safety have identified James Lyles, 68, of Jarrell, Eddie Williams, 48, of Killeen as the two people who were injured Monday afternoon in a traffic accident in Salado.
The wreck occurred at about 12:45 p.m. Monday, May 27 at the intersection of FM 2484 and Brewer Road.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said a 2012 Toyota SUV driven by Lyles, was heading westbound on the roadway when it turned left into the path of a 2015 Jeep that was being driven eastbound by Williams. Both vehicles collided.
Lyles was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center with incapacitating injuries. Williams declined medical aid at the crash site and was not hospitalized.
Three juveniles in the Jeep were unhurt in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
