Jaquan Busby Killed in Navasota Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 105

Navasota, Texas (July 23, 2021) – Two people were killed early Wednesday morning in a head-on collision near Navasota, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on July 21, on State Highway 105.

DPS said a 2008 Nissan Altima was traveling westbound while a 2003 Mazda MX-5 Miata was traveling eastbound.

The Nissan crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed head-on into the Mazda.

The Nissan driver, Jaquan Busby, 27, of Washington, and the Mazda driver, Spencer Scott, 43, of Brenham, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
