Jason Ray Gilmore Killed in Pittsburg Motorcycle Accident at Loop 179 and County Road 2106; Joseph Mickael Agundiz Arrested

Pittsburg, Texas (October 11, 2019) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday in Pittsburg, a local news source reported.

The accident took place on Thursday, October 10, at the intersection of Loop 179 and County Road 2106.

Police said 27-year-old Joseph Mickael Agundiz was driving a pickup when he failed to yield the right of way to a motorcycle at the intersection, resulting in a collision.

The motorcyclist, 43-year-old Jason Ray Gilmore, of Gilmer, was killed in the crash.

Agundiz was later arrested and was booked into the Camp County jail. He was charged with intoxication manslaughter and tampering with evidence.

An investigation is ongoing.
