Jennifer Annette Dougherty ID’d as Woman Killed in Wood County Ambulance Crash on FM 515 

Wood County, Texas (October 1, 2019) – The woman who was killed in a traffic collision involving an ambulance Saturday morning in Wood County has been identified as Jennifer Annette Dougherty, 44, of Quinlan, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened on Saturday, September 28, on FM 515, four miles northwest of Yantis.

DPS said Dougherty was driving a 2001 Ford Escape westbound on the highway when she drove into the eastbound lane and struck a 2016 Chevy ambulance, driven by Erica Lynn Blalock, 24, of Quitman.

Dougherty was declared dead at the scene.

Blalock was treated at a Winnsboro hospital and released.

The crash remains under investigation.
