Jeremiah Osgood, Jose Ramirez, Nathanial Davidson and Joshua Fitts Injured in Fatal Midland County Semi-Truck Crash at FM 1379 and County Road 160

Midland County, Texas (January 17, 2020) – Four people were injured Thursday afternoon in a semi-truck crash that left one person dead in Midland County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash was reported around 4:30 p.m. on January 16, at the intersection of FM 1379 and County Road 160.

Troopers said Joseph Davis, 55, of Florida, was driving a semi-truck when he disregarded a stop sign at the intersection and collided with another semi-truck driven by Jeremiah Osgood.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Osgood and his three passengers, Jose Ramirez, Nathanial Davidson, and Joshua Fitts, were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Osgood, Davidson, and Fitts had incapacitating injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
