Jeremy D. Atchison Killed in Jones County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 83

Jones County, Texas (October 9, 2020) – A man was killed in a rollover crash Monday night in Jones County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash occurred just before 8:15 p.m., October 5, on US 83.

DPS said Jeremy D. Atchison, 32, of Abilene, was driving a 2013 Ford Edge northbound on the highway when he struck a 1930 Ford Model A Coupe, which was traveling in front of him.

The force of the impact caused the Edge to skid and then rollover.

Atchison was taken to Hendrick Medical Center, where he later died.

No other injuries were reported.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
