Jeremy Landavazo Killed in Motorcycle Crash at Pellicano and Ted Hougton Drives in El Paso

Jeremy Landavazo Killed in El Paso Motorcycle Accident at Pellicano Drive and Ted Hougton Drive

El Paso, Texas (October 25, 2019) – A former Americas High football player was killed in a motorcycle accident Wednesday night in El Paso, a local news source reported.

The crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. on October 23, at the intersection of Pellicano Drive and Ted Hougton Drive near AHS.

Authorities said Christopher Madrid, 38, was making a left turn into the high school’s parking lot when he failed to yield the right of way. Madrid pulled out in front of a motorcycle, resulting in a collision.

The motorcyclist, Jeremy Landavazo, 20, a 2018 AHS graduate, was taken to Del Sol Hospital with serious injuries where he later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
