Jeremy Lee Case and Everett Rains Killed in Head-On Crash on FM 90 in Kaufman County

Jeremy Lee Case and Everett Rains ID’d as Victims in Fatal Kaufman County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 90 near CR 4007

Kaufman County, Texas (November 13, 2019) – The two people who were killed in a head-on collision Tuesday afternoon north of Mabank have been identified as Jeremy Lee Case, 20, and Everett Rains, 18, both of Mabank, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash occurred around 12:50 p.m. November 12, on Farm-to-Market 90 near CR 4007.

DPS said a black Jeep Renegade was traveling northbound on FM 90 while a grey Ford F-150 was traveling southbound. For unknown reasons, the Jeep driver lost control, traveled into the southbound lanes, and crashed head-on into the Ford.

The Jeep driver, Case, and his passenger, Rains, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford driver was taken to Athens Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
