Jessie Jay Woosley Killed in Car Crash at E. Parmer Lane and Dessau Road in Austin
Jessie Jay Woosley ID’d as Man Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash at E. Parmer Lane and Dessau Road
Austin, Texas (October 2, 2019) – The man who was killed in a traffic collision Friday morning in Northeast Austin has been identified as Jessie Jay Woosley, 23, according to the police.
The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. September 27, at the intersection of East Parmer Lane and Dessau Road.
Police said Woosley was speeding eastbound in a 2003 orange Chevrolet Avalanche pickup when a 2019 white Hyundai Elantra turned left onto Dessau Road with a protected green turn signal and the two vehicles collided.
The Avalanche then hit a metal pole on the southeast corner of the intersection.
Woosley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Elantra were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
