John Christopher De La Garza Killed in Victoria Motorcycle Accident on Houston Highway

Victoria, Texas (October 21, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed early Saturday morning in a traffic collision in Victoria, according to a local news release.

The accident took place around 2:25 a.m. October 19, in the 2700 block of Houston Highway, between Citizens Medical Center’s parking lot and McDonald’s.

Police said a truck was leaving a driveway when it failed to yield the right of way and hit John Christopher De La Garza who was riding a motorcycle.

De La Garza was taken to Citizens Medical Center where he later died.

The police are investigating the crash.
