John Dylan Stanley Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on North Main Street in Vidor

25-Year-Old John Dylan Stanley Killed in Vidor Pedestrian Accident on North Main Street

Vidor, Texas (February 27, 2020) – The man who was killed Tuesday night in a hit-and-run accident in Vidor has been identified as 25-year-old John Dylan Stanley of Vidor, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just before midnight, February 25, in the 1600 block of North Main Street, near Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

Police said Stanley was struck by a black pickup truck on the street.

Stanley was declared dead at the scene.

The pickup driver fled the scene and was last seen turning onto Wexford Drive and entering the Wexford Park subdivision.

The police are looking for the suspect. The pickup should have damage to the driver’s side front.

An investigation is underway. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver. Crime Stoppers phone number is (409) 833-TIPS (8477).
