Jonathan Claude Boudreaux Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 80 in White Oak

Jonathan Claude Boudreaux ID’d as Man Killed in White Oak Crash on U.S. 80 near Texas 42

White Oak, Texas (July 25, 2019) – Jonathan Claude Boudreaux, 24, has been identified as the man who was killed  Monday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in White Oak, according to authorities.

The deadly accident took place at around 4:08 p.m. Monday, July 24 on U.S. 80, just east of Texas 42.

Authorities said Boudreaux was driving westbound on U.S. 80 when he hydroplaned during the rain and drifted over to the eastbound lane, where his vehicle was struck sideways by a car operated by Steven Denfield, 20, of White Oak.

As Boudreaux’s vehicle was spinning, it got caught in the wheels of a tractor-trailer that was being driven eastbound on U.S. 80 by Jason Davis, 41.

Boudreaux was pronounced dead at the scene.

Denfield sustained major injuries and was transported to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center-Longview.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
