Jordan Canedo and James Solis Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Rigsby Avenue; Lee Roy Morales Arrested

San Antonio, Texas (December 20, 2022) – Two people were killed on Friday in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before midnight, December 16, in the 2700 block of Rigsby Avenue near Comanche Park.

Police said Jordan Canedo, 15, and James Solis Jr, 17, were crossing the street in a designated crosswalk when they were struck by an eastbound vehicle.

Solis was pronounced dead at the scene. Canedo was taken to SAMC, where he later died.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The suspect, Lee Roy Morales, 23, was later arrested and has been charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid-Death.

The police are investigating the crash.
