Jordan Coleman ID’d as 18-Year-Old Woman Killed in Arlington Pedestrian Accident on South Cooper Street
Arlington, Texas (February 6, 2019) – The 18-year-old woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday morning on a street in Arlington has been identified as Jordan Coleman, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner.
The deadly accident happened just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday, February 3 in the 2000 block of South Cooper Street.
According to police, a vehicle was traveling northbound on Cooper Street when for an undetermined reason it veered off the roadway and drove onto the east sidewalk parallel to the lanes, where it hit Coleman who was walking.
The driver stopped at the scene and complied with police. The unidentified motorist was not injured in the incident.
Further details were not immediately available, and the crash remains under investigation.
