Jordy Lopez Arellano Killed in Motorcycle Accident on South Cooper Street in Arlington

Arlington, Texas (April 11, 2020) – An 18-year-old man was killed Friday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Arlington, according to the police.

The deadly accident took place around 4:40 p.m. on April 10, in the 1900 block of South Cooper Street at Inwood Drive.

Police said Jordy Lopez Arellano was riding a motorcycle northbound at a high rate of speed when he struck a white Ford F-250 that was turning left onto Inwood Drive.

Arellano was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
