Joseph Richardson Killed in Beaumont Motorcycle Accident on College Street

Beaumont, Texas – A man was killed Wednesday evening in a motorcycle crash in Beaumont, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 4:15 p.m., March 13, in the 5110 block of College Street.

Police said a motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound when it struck a vehicle, which had been heading eastbound and had turned from the middle turning lane across the westbound lanes.

The motorcyclist, Joseph Paul Richardson, 22, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
