Joshua Henao Killed in Tow-Truck Crash on Highway 183 near O’Connor Road

Irving, Texas (December 12, 2019) – One person was killed in a suspected DUI crash Tuesday night in Irving, according to the police.

The crash occurred just after 7:00 p.m. on December 10, on Texas 183 near O’Connor Road.

Police said a tow truck driver, 22-year-old Joshua Henao was on the right shoulder in the process of loading a vehicle onto the wrecker when a drunk driver crashed into the tow truck.

Henao, who was outside his vehicle at the time, was killed in the crash.

38-year-old Edgar Arturo Zavala-Asturias was arrested for Intoxication Manslaughter/Accident Involving Death. 

The authorities are investigating the crash.
