Juan Garcia Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident at Avenue H and Vaughn Boulevard

Fort Worth, Texas (August 14, 2022) – A 75-year-old man was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run accident in Fort Worth, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:50 p.m., August 12, at the intersection of Avenue H and Vaughn Boulevard.

Police said Juan Garcia was crossing the street and had the right-of-way when he was struck by a vehicle. 

Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle fled the scene heading northbound on Vaughn Boulevard.

The authorities are looking for the driver. Anyone with any information is asked to call Fort Worth Police.

An investigation is underway.
