Juan Molina Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on 50th Street

Lubbock, Texas (September 27, 2021) – A man was killed Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in Lubbock, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 11:59 p.m., September 25, in the 3600 block of 50th Street.

Police said Juan Molina, 63, was walking on the street when he was hit by an SUV.

Molina was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.

No one in the SUV was injured in the crash.

The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
